We held a MapConductor hands-on session at Aoyama Gakuin University. Participants with no programming experience also got to experience programming with MapConductor through implementing map display, markers, and InfoBubble.

This is a look back at a past event: on August 8, 2026, at the invitation of the Tohoku Institute of Technology Software Engineer Study Group, we held our first hands-on session as the MapConductor circle.

As the MapConductor circle, we participated in the technical self-published book event "Technical Book Expo" and sold our SwiftUI book "Learning Map App Development with a Weather Forecast App — MapConductor Introduction —". In this book, beyond introducing MapConductor itself, we present map app development knowledge that does not depend on a specific map SDK, such as how to fetch and display weather forecast data and code design. At the event, we spoke directly with visitors and received a variety of feedback about the book and MapConductor. We plan to participate in the next "Technical Book Fest 21" to be held on November 23, 2026, where we intend to introduce new developments including Android and React versions.

A report on the React × Map Conductor map app development workshop held at Open Source Conference 2026 Hiroshima. A total of 7 participants, including beginners, experienced pin display and camera controls.

At FOSS4G, held at the RCC Cultural Center in Hiroshima, we ran a hands-on MapConductor workshop. About 10 participants spent 3 hours getting as far as displaying a map using Swift, Kotlin, or React.
