The people behind MapConductor

A Google Developer Expert (GDE) for Maps with around a decade of experience building map-based applications and tools. He has authored several books on the Google Maps APIs and created the Cordova Google Maps Plugin, which has been widely used by developers around the world. His experience across different map SDKs and real projects is the basis for MapConductor’s unified design.

Contributes to the core development of MapConductor and helps maintain the codebase as the project evolves.

A long-time organizer of GDG Shikoku, contributing to the growth of the developer community in Shikoku. As a MapConductor Ambassador, Tam supports workshops and events. While not directly involved in the day-to-day development of MapConductor, Tam occasionally lends mathematical expertise to help solve challenging problems encountered by the project. Through both technical insight and community involvement, Tam supports the MapConductor project and its community.

A software engineer working in the energy industry and a MapConductor Ambassador. He has broad experience in research, development, and product development across manufacturing fields, including the power tool and medical industries, and has worked with technologies ranging from embedded systems and web development to data platforms and generative AI. He is also actively involved in technical communities and engineering education. Currently, he is pursuing graduate studies at Kyoto University of the Arts, exploring the intersection of technology, design, and creative expression. As a MapConductor Ambassador, he supports workshops and events and helps grow the project’s community.

As a QA engineer working on software quality and test automation, with previous experience in backend development. She enjoys understanding how systems behave and turning that understanding into better, more reliable products. As a MapConductor Supporter, she primarily helps with workshops and events, contributing to the project’s community activities.
