Terms of Service
These are the terms for using mapconductor.com and its features, run by the MapConductor project (“we”). By using the site you agree to them.

What these terms cover
These terms cover the website published at mapconductor.com, the documentation on it, the contact form, and the administration area used by operators.
They do not cover the MapConductor software itself. The software is distributed under the Apache License 2.0, and that licence governs its use. Nothing here narrows the rights the Apache-2.0 licence grants you.
Who runs this site
The site is run by the MapConductor project, reachable at info@mkgeeklab.com.
Using the documentation
You are free to read the documentation, quote it, and rely on it in your work. We do not warrant that it matches the software's actual behaviour — software changes, and documentation sometimes lags.
Code samples exist to explain something. They are not written to be dropped into production as they are.
The contact form
The form is there so you can reach us. Please do not use it to:
- impersonate someone, or enter an address that is not yours
- advertise, solicit, send the same thing repeatedly, or submit automatically
- send anything unlawful, anything that infringes someone's rights, or anything threatening
- attempt to break the site or the mail system behind it
What we do with what you send
We use what you send to reply to you and, where needed, to consider the matter internally. Messages not written in Japanese or English are machine-translated. The privacy policy has the details.
We do not promise a reply. Anything we judge to be repeated or automated submission may be discarded without one.
If you send us a suggestion, we may act on it without owing you anything for it. If something needs to stay confidential, send it by email rather than through the form and say so.
The administration area
Everything under /admin is for authorised operators. Access without authorisation is not permitted.
No warranty
The site and everything on it are provided as is. We make no warranty, express or implied, as to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or continued availability.
Limits on liability
Except where the law does not allow it, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site, or from your not being able to use it.
Changes and interruptions
The content, structure, URLs and features of the site may change without notice. It may be unavailable for maintenance or because something has broken. We may stop publishing it altogether.
Links to other sites
The documentation links out to GitHub, Discord, map SDK vendors and others. We are not responsible for what is on those sites.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. For any dispute arising from these terms or from this site, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The date above is updated when they do. Using the site after a change means you accept the changed terms.
Languages
This document is maintained in Japanese and English. Pages in the site's other languages show the English version. If the Japanese and English versions differ, the Japanese version governs.
Contact
For questions about these terms, write to info@mkgeeklab.com. The site's contact form reaches the same address.
